Squid Academy Welcomes Julie Mavrogeorge to its Esports Education Advisory Board

We’re thrilled to announce that Julie Mavrogeorge has joined Squid Academy’s Esports Education Advisory Board! With over a decade of experience bringing esports and STEAM programs into schools, Julie is a passionate educator and an incredible addition to our team.
Julie is the owner of Jdogmav Consulting, LLC, where she helps schools and organisations implement esports and STEAM initiatives. She also works with Cleverlike Studios, Inc., specialising in Minecraft Education Esports and Cybersecurity. Her dedication to innovation and education has earned her multiple awards, including the 2022 NAECAD High School Esports Director of the Year and the 2024 the*gameHERS Guardian of the Year.
As a former CTE Coordinator for Fresno Unified School District, Julie developed groundbreaking esports, drones, and STEAM programs that have inspired countless students. Her expertise and creativity align perfectly with our mission to turn esports into a powerful educational tool that equips students with real-world skills.
In her role as Esports Education Advisor, Julie will be working closely with us to ensure our programs are impactful, engaging, and aligned with what educators and students need most. She’ll also collaborate with schools to bring these programs into classrooms, helping students explore exciting opportunities in the world of esports.
